To deal with Common Cause Failure (CCF) in a hydraulic transmission oil supply system (HTOSS), a reliability analysis of the system is conducted by combining Dynamic Fault Tree (DFT) and Matrix technology in this paper. The dynamic fault tree model is established with functional dependency (FDEP) gate under the condition of considering the relationship among common causes and minimal cut sets (MCS). The probability of all MCS and failure probability of the HTOSS are respectively calculated through matrix technology under the conditions of considering CCF and non-considering CCF. Comparing two results, it shows that failure probability of the system without considering CCF may bring great error from the real value.
