Card number recognition system is proposed to identify and verify the Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) card. For identification and verification of RFID card, the card number image captured by vision camera is analyzed by image processing algorithm and is changed to a number from an image. In the design of an image processing algorithm, the OCR program is used. The card number recognition system is manufactured and verification is conducted with a transportation card. From the performance test, the developed card number recognition system has an error rate of 2% for five times the average with a 100 image sample.
