This paper focuses on the outage probability and average symbol error ratio (SER) analysis for a cooperative cognitive radio network with the N~(th) best relay (CCRN-N~(th)R) based on reactive decode-and-forward (RDF) protocol. To these ends, we first obtain the exact closed-form expression for the cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the instantaneous equivalent end-to-end signal-to-interference ratio (SIR). Then, with the obtained CDF, the outage probability and average SER are achieved.
