摘要

Support for interoperability is the value of IEC61850 in intelligent substation reflected, this paper regards Modbus protocol with IEC61850 standard mapping as the main object, starts from the basic definition of the finite state machine (FSM), analyses the Modbus protocol communication process and gives the formal description model and the shortest test sequence of the Modbus server. At last it introduces the comprehensive monitoring unit (CMU) interoperability testing environment and program, and verifies the feasibility of the scheme.
