Besides objectives of today of replacing fossil energy from renewable sources and of re-ducing emission of greenhouse gases, the European Commission published that 20 % of the entire energy consumption of primary energy have to be assigned to traffic and that its potential of saving energy has to be assessed with 26 % by the year 2020. Therefore, incre-asing the fuel efficiency is a priority measure |1|. Car manufacturers are obliged to reduce the declared emission value of new cars down to a limit of 130 g/km in the current year 2015 and to 95 g/km by the year 2020. Car manufacturers often chose partly electrification of drivetrain to achieve this goal. The increase of active and passive security of passen-ger cars and driving comfort are targeted simultaneously and lead to a further increase in weight of current and future cars which have to be compensated by structural measures regarding engine, chassis and car body.
