摘要

Concrete intermediate moment frame systems are one of the most common structural systems in the world. This type of structure meets earthquake seismic design codes, like UBC 97 parameters, at the performance level. This research was conducted according to the computational model, which was designed based on the requirements of section ACI 318-99 and UBC 97 regulations has the demand capacity ratio (DCR) for beams and column between 0.9 to 0.95. Finally, the performance of the samples was checked and evaluated by the FEMA 356 in earthquake hazard level 1 (BSE-1). The results show that, these structures can provide a performance level of life safety in earthquake hazard level 1. It is also observed that these structures due to high stiffness in middle story, plastic hinge are not formed on the upper story beams.
