The research on an adaptive transmission scheme based on GPRS

The main reason for low communication performance relates with signal instability caused by the uneven distribution of a base station along a high-speed railway. This paper proposes an adaptive transmission scheme to improve the transmission performance of GPRS. Considering the hysteresis of direct query signal quality and the problem that some regions can't be covered along a high-speed railway, this paper gives a corresponding dynamic transmission strategy. The improved performance of the method has been validated by simulation tests.
