摘要

Finite element method was employed to carry out numerical analysis. A modeling study was performed to calculate the distributions of the potential, current density and depth of discharge on the electrodes of a lithium-ion battery. The distributions of the heat generation and temperature on the battery were determined from the potential and current density distributions. The modeling results were compared with the measurement data. The modeling methodology presented in this study may contribute to modifying the design of the electrode configuration.
