In health effect assessment of airborne nanoparticles, it is necessary to determine those particles concentration in the various environments as well as their composition with particle size, which affect the region deposition of inhaled particles in the human respiratory system. In order to overcome difficulty on air samplers for nanoparticles without high pressure drop conditions as low pressure impactors, the authors has developed several variations of air sampler to collect nanoparticles on a filter for various chemical analysis based on the inertial filter technology which can separate 70 ~ 200 nm of particles at 5 ~ 15 kPa of pressure drop.
