摘要

The immobilization of solid particles on a matrix is one of the key for designing a high-quality functional material-based device. A porous, honeycomb structure can be acted as a unique solid matrix when functional particles can be inserted in its pore canal/hole. One of good candidate porous structures is anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) substrates. Up to now, the insertion of particles in the AAO has been carried out mainly by liquid-phase methods (Kusdianto et al. (2014)). On the other hand, the conventional gas-phase methods were based on the phase conversion (gas-to-film). In the present study, we propose a spray-based method to insert presynthesized particles in an AAO-based porous structure having pore canals with high aspect ratio (Fig.1). The sprayed aerosol particles were generated and charged via an electrostatic-spray route.
