Atmospheric nanoparticles (PM0.1), defined as particles with spherical equivalent diameters smaller than 100 nm, has been found having adverse health effects to the public (Furuuchi et al.,2010). Moreover, the ratio of two main components in elemental carbon (EC): char-EC and soot-EC can be thought as an effective indicator for source identification (Han, 2010). This study aims to assess featured annual and seasonal characteristics of nanoparticle pollution compared with total suspended particle (TSP) in Kanazawa, Japan.
