摘要

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is one of material semiconductor which have been used in the photocatalyst main research due to the advantages of characteristics such as inexpensive, largely available, and harmless. However, TiO2 is only active under UV light irradiation. As an alternative, tungsten trioxide (WO3) has beeen proposed as a good candidate. Narrow band gap is one of the advantages of this material. However, inefficient properties, price, and short supply are still problems. Therefore, design of WO3 material plays a crucial role in solving the mention problems. Development of efficient photocatalyst materials with good performance is therefore essential in the face of increasing demand but decreasing resources.
