This paper presents an innovative and modern design solutions of tools, equipments and machines for underground mining developed in the Department of Mining, Dressing and Transport Machines,AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracov.Innovative solutions of mining tools used on the roadheader mining heads were described.Mechanized shearer longwall complex for thin coal seams were also presented.The innovative roadheaders mining head with disk tools of complex trajectory, as well as the solution of temporary, hydraulic, mechanized, walking roof support used during drilling roadways,were also described.
