Research on the flotation of dolomite using collector BSN

摘要

The flotation hehavior of dolomite , one of the major harmful impurities in phosphate ores has a great impact on beneficiation of phosphate ores.The basic flotation hehavior of the dolomite was revealed through micrcrllotation and adsorption of collector in conditions of different dosage and pH adjusted by different regulators using collector BSN.The results of experiments show that dolomite has a good floatability using BSN under faintly acid and alkaline conditions; the adsorption of BSN on dolomite shows a good corresponding relation with float rate; Results of infrared spectrometry on dolomite before and after BSN adsorbing indicate that it's a physical absorption under faintly acid and chemisorption under alkaline condition.
