Remote Monitoring Maintenance Management: Integrating ICT and Reliability Analysis

The paper presents a proposal Remote Monitoring Platform (RMP) to support Healthcare Technology Maintenance Management (HTMM). This platform includes an interconnectivity infrastructure composed by reliability analysis and Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). A case study was implemented into a Healthcare Facility (HCF) to represent the application of this platform. The interconnectivity infrastructure has made possible the acquisition, transmission, and storage of the operating conditions of Healthcare Technology (HT). Based on the information exchange of these conditions, reliability indicators were generated. Thus, this platform associates the technology conditions, failures, and maintenance actions. In this manner, clinical engineering benefited from environments, in which integrate maintenance actions based on the sate or condition monitoring of technology.
