Chinese chemical fertilizer industry experienced a rapid development during last 12 years. The value of gross output of fertilizer industry increased by 6 fold. In last ten years, the growth rate of fertilizer production was much higher than before. Nitrogen fertilizer production was 52 million tonne in 2013, with an increase of 6.9% Phosphate fertilizer production was 16.5 million tonne in 2013, with a decrease of 2.4% Potash fertilizer production was 4.7 million tonne in 2013, with an increase of 25%.
