In order to get the best open angle of H76 type double disc check valves and proceed structure optimization, according to the working principle of the check valve, several groups different open angle calculation models are set up. Using Fluent software to conduct unsteady flow numerical simulation calculation for calculating models. Analyze and compare the change of flow coefficient and flow resistance coefficient curve and the distribution of velocity and pressure in the flow field. Results show that the best open angle of the check valve is 20° as well as at the guide structure and the valve clack top edge, structure optimization is needed to improve the performance of check valves. The results save the cost for check valves' design and shorten the development cycle and provide the reliable basis for the improvement of the structure of the valve.
