摘要

Nowadays, cable tray are widely used in the urban distribution, it has become an important form of cable laying, so it has significant meaning for reasonable allocating the cable circuit to calculate its loss, temperature distribution and ampacity. In this paper, finite element method was used to calculate the loss and temperature distribution of cables in tray, and obtained the final steady state temperature distribution figure. On this basis, the permitted ampacity of cables in tray was calculated by the iterative method. The calculation results meet the engineering requirements.
