This paper designs a synchronous control system for modularized vacuum circuit-breakers with multi-breaks. The system takes DSP + FPGA architecture in hardware and designs five modules in software. The control system was tested in a 126 kV vacuum circuit-breaker which is composed of three 40.5 kV vacuum circuit-breakers in serial. The results show that the maximum differences of break-brake time between three fractures are about 0.5ms when the synchronous control system was implemented. And it can meet synchronous control requirements of multi-breaks vacuum breakers.
