The synthesis of various novel zeolites has attracted most attention since such materials are technologically important in many catalysis processes especially in the petrochemical and refining industry [1]. Recently, ITQ-13 was synthesized by Corma and co-workers [2]. It contains a unique tridirectional channels in which one of them has 9 MR (4.0 X 4.9 A) openings and the other two channels are straight (4.7 X 5.1 A) and sinusoidal 10 MR (4.8X5.7 A) [2]. With these unique structure characteristics, ITQ-13 exhibits quite different catalytic activity as compared with ZSM-5 zeolite. It has been widely applied in adsorption and separation processes, hydrocarbon transformation reactions such as conversion of the aromatics and catalytic cracking of hydrocarbons for propylene boosting [3].
