摘要

The metal organic framework zeolitic imidazolate framework 8 (ZIF-8) porous nano-particles were fabricated through a one-step simple solution method. The fabricated porous nano-particles acted as a sacrificial template to provide the subsequent nitrogen doped porous carbon after thermal carbonization protocol. The nitrogen doped carbon ZIF-8 possesses a sodalite-type structure along with regular mesoporous pore sizes and channels allowing ease of migration towards ionic species.
