摘要

Graphene, single layer of honeycomb structured -sp~2 carbon atoms [1], has excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical strength, making it attractive for electrochemical energy storage and conversion applications [2]. It also exhibits well-defined atomic structure and tunable surface chemistry that will allow us to carefully investigate crucial structure-property relationships. This talk will discuss the use of graphene in Li-O2 and Li-CF_x batteries. The functions of graphene on enhancing the electrochemical performances of different electrode materials will be explored.
