摘要

To comparatively study adsorption capacity of adsorbents for thiophene was carried out in this paper. The adsorption mechanism was also discussed. Alumina, Y zeolite and modified zeolites were used to remove thiophene in simulate gasoline. The experiment results showed that the adsorbents have better desulfurization performance when they have more number of weak acid sites. The Y zeolite was found to be the best adsorbent to remove thiophene. Fe(NO3)_3 showed the best performance in modifying zeolites by metal nitrat-es.The electric field intensity was considered to be the important factor for adsorption of thiophene. It revealed that desulfurization capacity on adsorbent was closely related with acid site of adsorbents.
