New Process Scheme for Treatment and Reuse of Oilfield Produced Water for SAGD and OTSG Applications

Water reuse from industrial wastewater is a major issue on which a lot of research has been done in the past years.This issue is particularly sensitive on the oilfield and gasfield where water is scarce and can be a high cost. However,Produced Water often presents a high temperature often above 55°C and going up to 98°C.They also contain a high amount of organic content as well as suspended solids,insoluble oil,hydrocarbons and soluble organic content. They often have a high alkalinity,hardness as well as certain salinity.
