摘要

The rapid development of residential and commercial grid connected photovoltaic power projects led the research to energy optimization under mismatched operating conditions. The energy losses from partial shading photovoltaic panels can cause significant reduction in the produced energy of a PV system based on the classic topology of string inverter. The solution to this kind of problems can be given by incorporating embedded systems in the photovoltaic plants. This paper presents the simulation results from the comparison ofthe main topologies which used for power optimization of a shading PV system, the DC/DC power optimizers, cell string optimizers and microinverters, and stress their effectiveness against the conventional string inverter scheme. The financial benefits of the participation of a grid-connected PV system to a demand response program by using IoT and IoE technologies are analyzed in techno economic basis.
