According to calculation results by finite element analysis, found out the stress distribution on transmission tower. Combined with the results, FBG strain sensors were arranged on upper part of tower, cross-arm of tower and body of tower, to monitor the strain in dancing state. Research results indicate that, at the wind speed of 20m, the number 24-point is the maximum point of stress, and the maximum value is beyond yield stress. And this part of the tower should be reinforced.
