The flow process of gas flowing through particle clusters of CFB reactors is modeling by CFD approach.The resistance of cluster causes the gas fluxes getting into the cluster much less than the gas fluxes flowing around the cluster.The forces acting on each particle of the cluster are lower than the forces acting on single particle.The cluster characteristics is an essential factor determining the behavior of gas flowing through clusters.The gas fluxes passing through a cluster and the total forces acting on all particles of cluster increase with increasing the cluster porosity, while they decrease with increasing the cluster size.The slip velocity has a less impact on the flow behavior comparing to the porosity and cluster size.
