摘要

Thiol-ene -click" chemistry proceeds with facile reaction conditions for complete conversion, and displays a higher tolerance to various backbones and functional groups comparing with traditional coupling and functionalization strategies. Herein, a series of telechelic polystyrene were synthesized via a combination of RAFT polymerization and thiol-ene -click" chemistry (Scheme 1). Firstly, well-defined thiol terminated polystyrenes (PS-SH) were prepared by a bulk RAFT polymerization of styrene using chain transfer agent of CTA followed by reduction with n-hexylamine. Then, the thiol-ene -click" reaction of PS-SH and various enes (tert-butyl acrylate, n-butyl acrylate and N-isopropyl acrylamide) were initiated by DMPA at λ =365 nm to construct the telechelic polystyrenes. The chain structures of polymers were characterized by UV-Vis and ~1H-NMR (Figurel and 2).
