Soybean plants exposed to elevate Arsenic (As) levels show toxicity symptoms. Experiments in pots were performed using soils without or enriched with Phosphorous (P). Results here obtained revealed that As pretreatment causes oxidative stress in plants grown in soils without P, as revealed by an increase in TBARS levels and alterations in GSH content as well as Catalase (CAT) and Peroxidase (GPOX) activities.
