In the process of the formation and evolution of sedimentary basins,sediment lithology,drainage effect,the burial characteristics of rock and fluid, fracture characteristics and geothermal field , pressure field,etc.,will change,and the magnitude of denudation is related to the degree of this change.The restoration of the removed thickness of sediment is the precondition to study burial history, depositional history and the hydrocarbon generation history in basin.Though many methods can be applied to calculate the removed thickness currently, mainly including correlation of strata , apatite fission track dating,acoustic transit time,vitrinite reflectanc (Ro),etc.,they have many hypotheses and limititation in some detailed area,and it is a new approach to calculate the removed thickness of denuded sediment by fluid inclusions.In this paper, the erosion thickness of Yingcheng Formation (K1yc) in Xushen 1-203 well in Songliao Basin, would be restored by fluid inclusions,and provide a more accurate,easier method to restore erosion thickness.
