A technique to determine the independent isotopic fission yields utilizing the ability of a Penning trap to unambiguously identify the isotopes based on their mass has recently been developed at the IGISOL facility in the University of Jyv?skyl?. The analysis of proton induced fission of ~(238)U at 25 MeV energy has been finalized. The results will be compared with theoretical models.
