摘要

Traditional wire line connectivity is now reducing due to increase of customers' demand for high bandwidth application like-high speed internet, online gaming, IPTV, HDTV, VoD etc. FTTH connectivity by GPON technology is the best solution for multiservice (Data, Voice and Video) through a single channel. It ensure high speed and high quality. Now typical triple play solution is running by a mixed wave length. 1310 to 1550 wave length is used for triple play connectivity. Sometimes it make some interference within clients. To find out a single wave length instead of multiple wave length for long distance FTTH connectivity by using Direct modulated laser and an optical MUX instead of Signal Combiner (EDFA), analysing both all possible combination, for Data and Voice 1490 nm wave length gives better eye Diagram and better signal output and same for 1550 nm wave length for Video signal.
