In the present work, the nanocomposite containing GeS_2 and reduced graphene oxide was prepared and characterized with XRD, HRTEM and Raman spectroscopy. Meanwhile, the electrochemical performance of the GeS_2/graphene nanocomposite, as an anode material, was evaluated by galvanostatic discharge-charge tests. The experimental results indicate that the as-prepared nanocomposite consists of the GeS_2 nanosheets and the graphene nanosheets. And the graphene nanosheets are coated with GeS_2 nanosheets to form a GeS_2-graphene double-layer nanostructure. Moreover, it is also observed that the GeS_2/graphene nanocomposite possesses a high initial discharge capacity of 1560.9 mA h g~(-1).
