Based on the update development of world heat treatment technology and the new progress of heat treatment research, some new energy-saving ways and technology in heat treatment process and the furnaces were presented.The new research topics for energy saving were presented as well.The new ways, new technologies and the further research topics of energy-saving for metal heat treatment were introduced as the following :1) Change heat treatment in solid phase to liquid phase.
