A broad Prepreg definition proposed ( source : Connectra): A prepreg is a materials’ system consisting of a reinforcement fiber, typically glass or carbon, and a resin, (activated resin if thermoset and non-reactive if thermoplastic), that has been compounded or pre-impregnated to a pre-determined ratio and is ready to be laminated or moulded by the application of pressure and/or heat in or on a mould.
