ADHESION - A bond between a PSA and a substrate. It is a measure of bond breaking. COHESION - The ability of the adhesive to resist splitting within itself. It is a measure of bond forming TACK- Property of a PSA that allows it to adhere to a surface under very slight pressure. ADHESIVE FAILURE - Characterized by pulling the adhesive loose from the substrate. 100% of the adhesive stays completely on the facestock.
