Benchmarks are often misleading - May not be the right result for YOUR design; More often than not, the performance figures are "Peak" and not "Sustained"; What about shared memory? Latency? How do we get data into/out of the system? Communication links? Is developing for FPGAs really that difficult? One size fits all?
