摘要

In this paper, the temporal and spatial distribution variation and related mechanism of the ocean color elements of Guangdong coastal waters are analyzed based on MERIS full resolution level 2 products. The concentrations of the TSM, YS and CHL of study area are higher offshore and gradually reduce off the coast; the high concentration areas of the TSM are mainly located in the southeastern Leizhou Peninsula, eight big outlets of the Pearl River and the Shantou eastern waters. The Northeast monsoon and long-shore drifts are the major factors influencing on the distribution. The distribution trends of high CHL concentration and the YS coefficient are similar with the TSM. The monthly variation of the three ocean color elements of coastal water showed relatively large difference; the annual variation is really different of three ocean color elements no matter in summer and winter.
