Remote 2015 Monitoring Control: SCADA Mobility Redefined Contextual HMI with Proximity Services

There is a need for a new SCADA Mobility Infrastructure: (1) The Workstation HMI approach via browsers is not sufficient. Smart mobile devices have built in capability to detect location: (1) Location and user profile enables an enhanced mobile HMI solution (2) Knowledge of the mobile workers location and surrounding assets has the benefit of tracking positions. SCADA Mobility Server is critical to the infrastructure: (1) Data acquisition via industry protocols (2) Aggregate/process/treat the data (3) Contextual filtering & tracking (4) Control user rights (5) Generate reports & dashboard metrics.
