Estimation Method for Spatial Capacity of Sea Areas Reclamation

This paper suggest 5 m depth line is suitable depth for sea areas reclamation based on study of sea areas reclamation investing and established estimation methods for spatial resource capacity of sea areas reclamation. Then Liaoning province in China was chose as a case to estimateitssea areas reclamation capacity. The result shown as follows: Depth of sea areas near the coastline in Liaoning province is smaller than 5 m in most sea fields. Length of coast with under water slope angle less than 1° is 1988.77 km and account for 52.25% coast of Liaoning province. The total areas of sea reclamation capacity is 211714.06 hm~2. Its distributes mainly in Dalian sea areas, Jinzhou sea areas and Yingkou sea areas with percentage of 47.19%, 18.78% and 14.53%, respectively.
