摘要

The bulk electronic properties of LiFePO_4 are explored by the self-consistent analysis of both the magnetic properties and electric conductivity. This combination gives evidence that the ionic and electronic conductivity are closely correlated, since the electronic conductivity is due to the migration of lithium vacancies. The results are compared with the results of the calculations of the formation energy of the native defects in this material.
