摘要

The development of hyhrid electric vehicles( HEV) is one of the major effort for the reduction of transportation system dependence on petroleum.Recently,a number of researchers in this area have made significant effort to advance the technologies for the optimal control of HEVs.This paper studies model predic:tive control( MPC) method for the optimal control of HEVs.The control system uses a torque demand estimator to estimate the vehicle torque demand.The MPC controller calculates an optimal sequence of control inputs to the vehicle over the receding prediction horizon to minimize the fuel consumption of the vehicle.The effectiveness of the presented control strategy is evaluated in MATLAB/Simulink environment with urban dynamometer driving schedule ( UDDS) and highway fuel economy driving schedule( HWFET) driving cycles.
