The CO_2 storage in saline aquifers possess large storage potential, required less well numbers, low storage costs, less geographical restrictions, etc, it has widespread attention of environmental protection workers at home and abroad. Through the mechanism of CO_2 storage in saline aquifers research shows that the form of CO_2 storage in saline aquifers was divided into free gas and irreducible gas. Through the application of CMG software to simulate the geological model, the results showed that the diffusion coefficient has a minimal impact on CO_2 safe storage. When choose storage reservoir, high porosity, high permeability, low vertical and horizontal permeability ratio is the first choice.
