摘要

The report describes the approximation of the standard table of luminance coefficients of road surface (r-table) by analytical model. The model is executed in the form of an ellipsoid of scattering being the photometrical body of luminance coefficient related to the reflected light beam which in its turn is linked with an incident beam falling from the standard angle of observation. The approximation errors of road luminance distribution are estimated for an area with test configuration. The approximation enables to simplify the procedure of measuring the luminance coefficients of a road surface in situ considerably. In future, after obtaining necessary input data, it is planned to create a universal mathematical model which will allow to calculate the luminance of a road surface under arbitrary angles of light incidence and observation.
