This paper attempts to evaluate the effects of capillary number, viscosity-ratio, wettability and heterogeneity on the measured relative permeability, by assuming a set of relative permeability curves for a 1D black-oil simulation model simulating unsteady-state experiments. The relative permeability in each case, calculated by Jones and Roszelles (JR) method are compared with the input relative permeabilitites. The trends of measured relative permeabilities, water relative permeability end-point and breakthrough recoveries for different wettability, capillary numbers, viscosity ratios and heterogeneity were obtained and studied.
