摘要

The aim of this study is to contribute to a better understanding of the macroscopic and mesocopic frictional behaviors by carrying out a parametric experimental study. Friction tests were performed on fabric/fabric and tow/tow at different relative orientations of the samples with varying both normal pressure and velocity. The results show that increasing the normal pressure leads to the decrease of the frictional coefficients until reaching steady values for high values of pressure. On the other hand, the macroscopic and mesoscopic friction behaviors remain almost unchanged at low velocity while for high velocities, the frictional coefficients slightly increase.
