摘要

1 Data and methods Daily reanalysis data from NCEP/NCAR,daily rainfall data from observation stations in South China from 1961 to 2010 are applied.In this paper,South China is referred as Guangdong Province,Guangxi Province,and areas from south of 26°N in Hunan,Jiangxi and Fujian provinces.First flood season is from April to June annually.A regional heavy rain day is defined as that heavy rain happened at least at 15 observation stations in South China.
