摘要

A new generation of high performance novel modified bismaleimides (BMI) is being developed for use in the marine environment.The advantages of BMI resins are its low moisture absorption,good mechanical properties and strength retention at high temperatures.Bismaleimide (BMI) resin can improve its poor properties such as toughness and solubility by reacting with unsaturated alkene compounds.This presentation will cover our on-going work on BMI with particular focus on carborane alkene containing bulky carborane cage which possesses remarkable thermal stability.The copolymerization of bismaleimide with carborane alkene,can obtain high heat-resistant material carboranyl polybismaleimide with excellent thermal stability and processability.
