Crack development, initial tilt and material deterioration are the three main factors of seismic fragility of historical masonry towers. This article describes the reduction of stiffness caused by the crack direction and crack width; the impact of structural deformation generated by the initial ti the relationship of the material performance deterioration and masonry pagoda strength. The seismic fragility curves are employed to analyze the seismic risk of historical masonry towers. The results provide a reference for the masonry pagoda safety assessment and maintenance.
