摘要

In this paper, finite difference method and finite volume method are adopted to simulate the two-dimensional lid-driven cavity flow based on MAC with staggered mesh. Second-order central difference scheme is applied to discretize the convection and diffusion items respectively. Simulation results obtained are compared at different Reynolds number (100, 400, 1000) using grid points 20 -- 20, 40 -- 40, 80 -- 80. The overall result shows that MAC has high calculation precision to solve the problem of driven cavity flow.
